Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise, Duke’s recommended
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup blue cheese hand crumbled, about 4 ounces
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper, or more to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon, hot sauce, and seasonings to a bowl and stir to combine.
  2. Crumble half of the blue cheese into the mixture. Use a fork or spatula to smash the blue cheese into the creamy mixture. 
  3. Add the remaining blue cheese and green onions to the bowl and stir to combine.
  4. Allow the blue cheese dressing to refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
  5. Taste for seasoning and adjust if needed. 

Notes

  1. For a thinner dressing add 1/4 cup of buttermilk.
  2. Keep this stored in a mason jar or airtight container and it will last for a week in the refrigerator.
